The SideOut London Grand Prix features 5 action-packed weekends of beach volleyball taking place at SideOut Leyton across the summer, culminating in a huge event in September: the SideOut London Finals at London's Canary Wharf!

Highlights:

• 1-day elite level events with full international scoring in all elimination matches

• £600 cash, prizes and medals at each event for the top 3 teams in each gender.

• Teams earn London Grand Prix Points at each event. At the end of the series, the teams with the most points will qualify for the SideOut London Finals at London's iconic Canary Wharf in September. More details on this unique event coming soon! 

 

Format:

Pool play, followed by single elimination rounds.

• Full international scoring (21-21-15) in all elimination matches.

• Minimum 3 matches per team.

• Men's and women's draws run alongside each other at each tournament.

Times:

• Approx. 9:00am-7:00pm.

• Detailed schedule and timings are provided by email no later than the day before each event.

Entry Rules & Process:

• Register and pay online via registration.sideout.co.uk.

• All players must hold a valid SideOut Membership or Single Tournament Pass.

• Registration closes on the Monday before each tournament.

• If more than 16 entries are received, teams will be ranked by their National Ranking points and the top 16 ranked entrants will be eligible to participate. All other teams will be placed on the reserve list and have their entry fee refunded if they do not get into the tournament.

• In case of a tie in National Ranking points, previous results in SideOut tournaments will also be taken into consideration.

• Up to 2 wildcards per gender may be granted in exceptional circumstances and at SideOut's absolute discretion. If wildcards are granted, only the top 14/15 ranked teams (depending on number of wildcards) will be eligible.

• All teams will receive an email by the Tuesday before each tournament informing them if they are in the tournament or not.

• Detailed schedule and timings will be emailed to all teams no later than the day before each event.

• These tournaments are not part of the UK Beach Tour, do not require a UKBT membership to participate in, and do not qualify for UKBT ranking point

 

Entry Fees:

• £48 per team per tournament

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

You can cancel your tournament entry up to 7 days before the first day of the tournament and receive a full refund. Please email us using the contact details below to request cancellation.

If you cancel your tournament entry within 7 days of the tournament, you will not receive a refund unless the tournament is full and your team is replaced directly by a team on our waiting list.

No refunds will be given for cancellations requested within 48 hours of the start of the tournament.
