SideOut is founded.

summer 2012

Started using "Leyton Beach" for occasional weekend tournaments and training camps.

summer 2013

Continued to use Leyton Beach on weekends and the occasional weekday.

spring 2014

​Leyton Beach becomes our permanent home and is renamed "SideOut Beach". We add an extra court and go up from 3 to 4 courts. We start hosting London Beach Volleyball Club's daily training sessions and providing coaches for LBVC's sessions.

spring 2015

​SideOut Beach Volleyball Club starts to offer its own training sessions and tournaments. The venue is open 7 days a week from 1 April to 30 September and occasional days in the autumn and winter months.

2016

The Club continues to grow, the clubhouse undergoes refurbishment and floodlights are added to the venue.

spring 2017

We extend the sand-pit and add a 5th court, allowing us to host more training sessions and larger tournaments. The clubhouse is refurbished again too!

Spring & Summer 2018

​Our last season at the original SideOut Beach comes to an end with one last tournament and a big farewell party on Saturday 29th September.

Our new home at Ive Farm Fields is officially opened!
