Peyianna Metheniti

Peyianna is a professional beach volleyball player and coach with experience at the highest level of the game. She first made her name on the international beach volleyball scene when she won a silver medal in the Under-20 Balkan Championships - when aged just 15! She has represented Greece in international competitions ever since and she has won numerous national championships in both beach volleyball and volleyball.  

Her beach volleyball career highlights include:

  • Represented Greece in the FIVB Continental Cup Finals (Stavanger, 2016)

  • European Championships (Ankara 2016), 13th place

  • European Games (Baku, 2015), 17th place.

  • Balkan Championships:

    • Top ranked team (2015​)

    • 2nd, 3rd and 5th place finishes (2016)

    • 2nd place in Under-20 Championship (2007)

  • Greek National Tour 

    • 1st place (4 times, 2013)​

    • 2nd place (3 times, 2013-2015) 

  • Under-23 European Championships, 9th place (2010, aged 18)

  • Under-23 Greek National Championships, 1st place (2011, aged 19)

  • Under-20 Greek National Championships, 1st place (2008, aged 16)

  • Under-17 Greek National Championships, 1st place (2007)

In indoor volleyball she has competed for Markopoulo V.C. and Trachones V.C. in the A1 Professional League from a young age. ​
