About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Head Coach to take charge of our men’s first team, Team SideOut Men. This is a key moment in our team’s journey – and a unique opportunity for the right coach to lead a focused rebuild, bring fresh energy and vision, and guide the squad back to success.


What’s the opportunity? 


As Head Coach, you’ll shape the competitive and strategic direction of Team SideOut Men. You’ll build a strong, team-first culture, and play a key role in integrating talented players from our junior boys’ programme, offering them meaningful opportunities to train, develop and contribute at the senior level. You’ll also lead on player recruitment, helping attract and retain both experienced athletes and emerging young talent to strengthen and grow the squad. 


Training sessions will take place every Thursday at 8-10pm at Academy Sport (W2 5EW) and on some Saturdays at 3-5pm at St Augustine’s Sports Centre (NW6 5AW). The role is set to begin in September 2025, with pre-season planning and recruitment starting earlier in the summer.

  • A Volleyball England coaching qualification (or international equivalent) is a strong plus—but training and qualification support can be provided for the right candidate
