London's Only Elite UKBT Event

The SideOut London Open is one you definitely don't want to miss!

A showcase of top level men's and women's beach volleyball, this event will bring the UK's best players to the sands of SideOut Leyton for some epic battles and electrifying displays of skill and athleticism.

TIMES

Approx. 9:00am-7:00pm each day.
Detailed schedule and timings are provided by email no later than the day before each event.

UK BEACH TOUR

4-star "Open" event on the UK Beach Tour.
All players must hold a valid UKBT Membership (in addition to a SideOut Membership or Single Tournament Pass).

FORMAT

2-day events.
Pool play, followed by single elimination rounds.
Quarterfinals, semifinals and finals played on day 2.
Full international scoring (21-21-15) in all matches.
Minimum 3 matches per team.

ENTRY RULES & PROCESS

Register and pay online via registration.sideout.co.uk.

Registration closes on the Monday before each tournament.

Maximum 24 teams per gender
- If more than 24 entries are received, the official UKBT regulations apply:
- Teams will be ranked according to the UKBT Tournament Entry & Seeding Policy and the top 24 ranked entrants will be eligible to participate.
- All other teams will be placed on the reserve list and have their entry fee refunded if they do not get into the tournament.
- Up to 2 wildcards per gender may be granted in exceptional circumstances and at SideOut's absolute discretion and in accordance with the UKBT wildcard policy. If wildcards are granted, only the top 22/23 ranked teams (depending on number of wildcards) will be eligible.

All teams will receive an email by the Tuesday before each tournament informing them if they are in the tournament or not.

Detailed schedule and timings will be emailed to all teams no later than the day before each event.

ENTRY FEES

£55 per team

CANCELLATION POLICY

You can cancel your tournament entry up to 7 days before the first day of the tournament and receive a full refund. Please email us using the contact details below to request cancellation.

If you cancel your tournament entry within 7 days of the tournament, you will not receive a refund unless the tournament is full and your team is replaced directly by a team on our waiting list.
