SideOut, in partnership with Action For Kids and Volleyball England, hosted and organised London’s first-ever Queen & King of the Court event on 20 & 21 September 2024, set against the iconic backdrop of Canary Wharf.

This highly anticipated event, delivered in collaboration with the world-renowned sports marketing and events agency Sportworx, futured some of the world’s top beach volleyball athletes, returning to the city for the first time since the unforgettable 2012 Olympics and SideOut’s proud hosting of  the 2019 Continental Cup qualifier for the Tokyo Olympics. It was a truly memorable experience for fans.

At the forefront of this event, SideOut proudly presented a thrilling mix of Olympians, fresh from their performances at Paris 2024, alongside all the top British female and male teams. Leading the charge were the Bello Brothers, ranked #22 in the world and coming off a top 10 finish in the recent European Championships. This showcase not only brought world-class competition to London but also reflected SideOut’s ongoing commitment to nurturing the next generation of beach volleyball talent in England and Great Britain.

And the best part? Thanks to our sponsors and partners, admission was completely free. People came and enjoyed the electrifying action of this high-energy sport in one of London’s most striking locations.
